every time i turn on my car it seems to run rough for a few minutes then starts to work things out ...even if its runing mint and i shut it off for a sec then start again it runs rough ...any ideas ? mod below could it be a bad A9L
What it means is that the computer has to re-learn the engine every time you start it. I don't have my 89 book handy, but the 91 book has a solid yellow wire that runs off the battery side of the starter solenoid through a 20ga DK Blue fuse link that goes to the ECM power relay and then splices off directly to the ECM computer. Check for power at pin #1 of your computer with the ignition OFF.
