This may be a stupid question. But I have a mild cam and the car shakes slightly at idle, is this normal? I dont think it should shake as much as it does, but I could be wrong. Any input?

Not while driving, sorry should have clarified. Only while sitting at idle.

Like a steady vibration inside? Put something on the dash and it rattles?

Mine's like that. While I don't think it's normal (I've got a B-cam), it makes a little sense. Though maybe the motor mounts are weak?

Are they stock motor mounts or solid mounts?

I understand that. so it doesnt shake when the trans is in neutral??

When the car is shaking while idling, does it stop shaking when you put the trans in neutral or does it still shake?

5spd or auto??

5 speed, shakes regardless, I can see the shifter moving in first, neautral, whereever it may be when I'm idling.

You can run a cylinder balance test so you can see if it's a miss.
