I thought the Stanwood show was this weekend?

Also I thought the Greenwood show was this weekend?


Has anyone been to the Greenwood show in past years?
How was it?

Supposedly, the Stanwood show gets rather large, so I will be trying to make that.

Hey Jason,
Your right, the Stanwood show is this Sunday from 9-3. I will have my 06 GT at the Stanwood show. I have been to this show several times and it just keeps getting better every year. Look for my Redfire GT. I should be around. So introduce yourself.

Did you go to school in Stanwood?
I did back when Stanwood was a small school

Nope. I have lived in the Stanwood area since late 1990. So, you probably know, that was when we had not one stop light and no traffic. That has changed big time. Hope I get to meet you Sunday.

Is Stanwood still small enough that I can just drive in that general direction and still find the show?

(worry Wythors, I wont be heading over to Ocean Shores with you guys, as I have to work all day Friday and the cost of gas and hotel would offset the benifits of driving 8 hours to get there )

I am not exactly sure where the show actually is, but when you get off I5 turn west. If you then take a right at the 3rd light you should find the show.

Maybe someone else knows more detail?

I found their site, for directions, it just says main street Stanwood. clicky for ththe site http://www.twincityidlers.org/id10.html

You take Exit 212. As you come off I-5 you come to a stop light. Go left (west). Heading west for approx. 5 miles. You will pass a McDonalds on the left, continue through that light. You will drop down a hill into Stanwood. Once you cross the bridge, there is the Viking village shopping center on your right. There is also a Rite-Aid there. You can park there. Or continue straight at the light to the QFC parking lot. The show runs the length of Main Street, which is parallel to the highway you come in on. Any other questions??

Well I had a good time at both the Stanwood show and the Greenwood show.

The Onion burgers at the Stanwood show were great. Not bad for $6.

Sorry I didn't see you there Vic.

Maybe I can meet some of you local dudes when the Big show comes to town in July?

Sorry I missed you too, Jason. Had my 06 there yesterday, but I was probably out looking at other cars. I will be at the Friday cruise in Bellevue on the 14th and the show on Sunday the 16th. Maybe we could hook up with some of the locals then.
