I'm joining because there's a lot of info that I would like to access but I'm having a hard time accessing downloads.
Little bit of background on myself and mustangs. I'm more of a GM fanatic but somehow I always end up back to mustangs. First mustang I had was around 2017 when I was stationed in California, it was a 1992 GT, I bought it as a running and driving car and ended up building it for a buddy who wanted it more than me. When the 5.0 and t5 came out, we put in a 408w built out of a roller 351w we pulled from the junk yard and a TKO 500 scored off craigslist. It was a fun car but I didn't get to enjoy it for too long before I sold it to my buddy and moved back home to Iowa. Couple years ago a 2007 Roush convertible popped up on market place in my town, I messaged the guy within 15 minutes of him posting it and brought it home that day. The guy that owned it ended up living less than a block away from me, but had it stored in barn out in the country next to some other cars you'd never expect several miles down a gravel road. I enjoyed that one for a summer and ended up selling it to a young gal across the state, as far as I know she still has it and brings it to shows.
That brings us to current day, right now I'm building a 1988 T-top GT that has been sitting torn apart since the early 2000's. I have a picture of me in high school around 2011 with it in the background of the shop. The owner of the car brought it to the shop in the early 2000's for "restoration/modification's", since then the original business was sold and the car sat in the shop and would periodically be tinkered with by several hands but no real progress ever happened due to a variety of reasons. Recently the owner mentioned something about his daughter going to her senior prom next month. It's kind of a weird thought, but this guy has had this car for longer than his daughter has been alive and he has never driven it, so we're going to try to have it ready by prom. In the past two weeks I have been doing nothing but this mustang, and still have a good long bit to go with assembly of everything. The hardest part is locating parts, and trying to figure out how things go together that were taken apart years ago, by someone else, and shoved in a box, that has been moved multiple times. I'm pretty confident in my ability to get this accomplished and turn key in the short time frame, just trying to find some information to make my life easier.
Thank you for taking the time to read my ramblings.
