Car stall with clutch in

I'm sure many of you remember a while ago there were a lot of threads about the car stalling when you would slow down and stop for a red light or something when the clutch was held in the whole time. Was there ever a fix for it?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about I'll explain.

When coming to a stop and you have the clutch pushed in the car can sometimes shut off which causes you to lose all power steering and braking. I've only had it happen 3 times since I've had the car, but then again I don't usually come to a stop with the clutch pushed in. I put it in neutral and let off.

I cleaned my IAC and MAF and it never happened again... sometimes the RPM's drop to 400-500 but it hasnt stalled since... and at its worst i was stalling everyday at the same 2 stop signs in the morning on a cold start. So i was experiencing the worst of it.

i have been gettting the same problem and replaced my IAC. still happens. im gonna clean my MAF and see what happens
