Car stalls at stoplights...gettin bad...

First make sure you Mass Air is calibrated for #24 injectors. You say it happened after the install, check your fuel pressure, is your fuel pump upgraded as well...it's a long list of possibilities, but I would check you mass air meter and fuel pressure first. good luck

You replaced your IAC right? Did you get a Wells or did you go to ford? The Wells one from autozone has to be flipped backwards compared w/ a stock one or it doesn't work properly.

Have you pulled codes? I would assume--and this may be incorrect--if your O2's are working correctly and your MAF is calibrated correctly, and your injectors are in good shape, you shouldn't be running rich because the computer should increase/decrease pulse widths to maintain the proper fuel.

Have you checked your TPS?

actually, the VSS will maintain a higher idle (~1500 rpm) when you are at a rolling idle (idling but the vehicle is moving). this is to keep the car from stalling when one goes from running at speed to being in neutral but rolling, where one still will create a load with the PS, etc. it also keeps the idle from simply falling so fast it cant be caught in time. T.U., it is actually not dependant upon the clutch or its position, but rather the act of speed (the VSS is in the trans).

the IAC and puter work in conjunction to accomodate load. when you mention that you have issues with stalling while turning, this further makes me worry about the IAC. as one turns, engine speed can be low, while load is high (power steering, brake and turn signal lights, etc). the IAC should compensate for this if working correctly.

ditto for cold start issues, if you have those. pulling codes would really help if you can. and with the car in this condition, i would recommend not driving it, as it is unsafe (as you astutely commented upon).
