Coming home from school i was about half way there and the car starts to stutter, made a bucking/jerking motion then dies. i get stopped, wait about 2 min and then it fires right up. start to go again get about a mile and it starts to die again but i press the clutch in and give it a rev and it acts normal. i have to do this the rest of the way home (about 5 miles) whats going on? fuelpump? it also backfired right after it did it a couple times. i ahve a mechanical fuel pump.
