Car title problems

I found out why the guy traded me the mustang for the civic. I went to transfer the title and they said since he and the guy he got the mustang off of signed it and never put it into his name i have to get the title bonded. What exactly is that. any ideas on how to avoid having to bond the title. by the way this is in texas

thanks for the info. Looks like it should only cost 100 dollars based on the value. 100 to bond a title is worth it for the deal I got on the trade.
