ummm i think he has an auto from his signature....

Umm i already know from experience that the veterans here are gonna need more information like:
(1) did this just start?
(2)have you done a tune up lately?
(3) Clean your Maf sensor, i just read where a guy picked up a HUGE amount of horsepower and torque on the dyno from doing this alone.

If it didn't just start maybe you need some gears, better shift kit, or a stall. I have a stick so i have no idea how autos are supposed to feel stock...

hope i helped....

Sorry to break it to ya man, but i dont think anything is wrong with ur car. Most near stock auto stangs dont come close to breaking the wheels loose.

I could break the wheels loose with the stock trans and no mods. After I rebuilt it and did a shift kit and a stall converter I could chirp the 1-2 shift and smoke the tires. Do you know what was done to the trans when they rebuilt it?

If they did a shift kit it shouldent slip it should be a nice clean quick shift. Check the color of the fluid. Is it a nice bright red? Or is it dark and burned? I have a 96 5.0 explorer intake. I got it for $225 a couple of years ago.

After the TransGo shift kit and MAC exhaust in my car, I could chirp the tires in the 1-2 shift if I manually shifted. The gears really woke it up though and I could sometimes chirp the 2-3 with my bad tires.

My buddies Bone stock 01 GT spins the tires about 15 feet shifting into 2nd.. then agian, it might have 20/hp on a stock 94, but never the less, an auto trans should chrip em into 2nd easly.

All I can think is that the shop messed up the shift kit or something like that. Do you know where it was rebuilt at? Try calling them and tell them your problem and see what they say. If they do sothing then you might have to remove the pan and adjust the valve body some. There is more info on the aode in here http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/index.html
