The little red button was already pushed down so I got it to lift up then the car started idling like $hit acting like it was going to die but after about 5 min. the damn thing was still running. I dont know what the problem was. Can ne one help me?

just keep your car off and change the filter. You don't need to reset the fuel pump switch..

or else you can just unscrew the schrader valve on the injector rail and that will relieve the pressure

When I tripped mine to change my filter it took a good 15 min. or so to finally die. I couldn't believe it, but if finally died.

In retrospect, just let the pressure out from the schrader valve on the fuel rail.

Mine takes about 15 minutes as well. I also unhooked the harness instead of tripping it.
