I am considering converting my '93 LX to a carb. I am considering this because I believe it will be cheaper to tune and will make more topend hp. This car is not a daily driver. For all of you that switched to a carb are you glad you did? Have any of you used your efi fuel system with a 3 port return style fuel regulator? How did this set work for you? I am in the process of installing an e cam, ported e-7's and figured that if I do switch to a carb now is the time. I will be installing nitrous when I figure out which way I am going. Any info or reply is welcomed. Thanks

I have yet to put my motor in the car (see sig). It was cheaper to do a carb, for my motor it cost alot more to do than a mild 302 would have. The stock efi lines are too small imho for a carbed set up, you need more volume than pressure, but you might be able to get away with it. I'm using an in-tank pick with a -10 an feed and a -8 an return with a bypass regulator. Good luck. FWIW, I got $250 for my harness/computer, sell them if you can.

I am just finishing mine, and with the mods you are planing, I agree with the above post, you will need bigger lines with the lower pressure system.

Here is what I did.

Good luck
