About a month ago I won an auction on ebay for a VIS 4" carbon fiber cowl hood. Before I bid I checked out the seller and even though it's a ricer shop, they deal in the VIS hoods, and I emailed them to find out how long it would take to receive the hood, and was told it was backordered and would be 2 to 4 weeks. This was acceptable to me so I bid and won (the price was a lot lower than everywhere else I looked). Anyway, I just called the shop to see what the status is and they don't know, the last mustang hood took about a month and a half. Wondering where other people may have gotten their hoods and how long it took to get them? I'm just worried because I did take a chance on going with a non-mustang shop, and he offered to refund my money if I choose, so I'm wondering if I should get the refund now when I'm sure of getting it and order elsewhere, or wait it out since I'm halfway through the time anyway...
