I have it on my 01 GT. Some people say carbon fiber is old and out of style, but everyone who gets into my car tells me how nice it looks I got mine off ebay.

It depends on the type of CF you get. The overlays look ok and are fairly cheap. The paperflames interior is awesome. But IMHO way too expensive. If you can work with fiberglass. Than try this book for info.

I bought the door panels from Paperflames and had fitment issues withthem in my car. I ended up taking them out; turned out to be a costly mistake.

I made this little gem a few months ago. Making things out of carbon fiber is expensive and time consuming. Complex things anyway. I have experitmented with the trim bezels and what not without much success.

There's a company in Canada that will do an overlay if you send them the parts you want done.

That looks hideous. Brushed aluminum would be a safe, classy touch.

NO!

they look hideous! the 3M overlays look terrible! They came on my car when i got it and they were the first thing to go!

Theyre a bitch to get off so if you put it on you better like it because you will most likely damage something when trying to peel it off. Make sure its something you really want.

Its also too expensive, i would never waste my money on something like that. I would rather spend it on other things...

I like the new interior without that aluminum piece that is in those pics. It looks wierd. The bullits have a different design in the aluminum that i think looks good though. They look much better when they are either all one color or the tan/brown vinyal

i like CF interior parts but that looks disgusting, i dont think that color interior and CF go together. now if it was the black/charcoal color i think it would have been better.

sorry but im not a fan of carbon fiber...i think it's something you'd find in a honda or a toyota, but not a mustang.

brushed aluminum or billet is ok if done tastefully and not over done.

like CF. Hate stickers!!! If you do CF use replacement pieces, or at least have them covered like the interior on another thread. Had them done like the way they add camo to guns.

I would only like it is it's integrated as part of the dash and not a decal-looking peice.

When you stick on the CF or aluminum, it looks cheap.

My G35 has brushed aluminum center console and it looks great because it's integrated as part of the console and not an overlay or decal.

In the mustang, i don't see how you can do it and not make it look "stuck on"

Now, in the door pods, if the door cups were CF, that might look sweet....albeit expensive
