Yes it does...you just dont see it.

Having said that, I plan on swapping my tan for black this summer. I think it looks kinda neat. I have black mats, and they look fine. That pic looks good to me, but there will be different opinions.

Not that hard of the job, hardest stuff to remove will be the seats (bulky), seat belts (torqued down pretty good from the factory), and the door sill panels (I was ripping on mine pretty good and was afraid I was going to break one.)

That looks pretty good, I just wonder if it will clash with the tan seats.

i was thinking about that for your car, but look at people w/ black floor mats and it looks good... like rc was saying about his interior

just a different combo, but still would look good i think

I put black carpet in mine, which is grey/black 2-tone. It orginally had grey carpet that got real nasty due to some water damage. I completely stripped the interior and washed the floorpan down good. I figured that since I had it apart I would dynamat the easy to do surfaces to cut down on noise (I actually used FatMat, its cheaper and just as good as dynamat).

You have to cut all the holes for the seat bolts, electrical connections for seats/driver seatbelt, the seat belt bolts, and the clips for the rear seats. You'll also have to remove some material around the center console & footwells. Remember measure twice, cut once.

I originally didnt use adhesive, but I wished I would have. After a couple months the carpet started bunching up in a couple spots, and it looked kinda rigged. I got some carpet/headliner adhesive from the local auto parts store and re-installed the carpet. I put down the adhesive only in the spots that tended to get wear (mostly footwells), so that way it wasnt insanely hard to remove the carpet if I ever had to take it out again. Overall I think a new carpet, especially in black, makes any color interior look 100x better.

This was before I used the adhesive.

The main thing is when it comes its all rolled up in a box, I let mine sit out in the sun for a couple days to relax, then did the swap, not hard, but if you have never had your whole interior out before, there will be some slow spots for you as you figure it all out...
