Finally, the 82 is up and running, and I drove it to Cars and Coffee on Sat am. 20 miles each way, ran great, except for the 410 gears and no overdrive. Probably the longest trip in 10 years! Great event, I am liking these, early so in the summer its not hot, and done so you have the rest of the day with no impact. Amazing turnout, bunches of Mustangs, Corvettes, Chevelles, GTOs. Classic Galaxies and Fairlanes. cyber truck, Austin Healys, bikes, Rolls Royce, love this stuff!

Its been a street driven drag car since about 95 or so. Did a lot of FFWs up to 2008. It got rusted in the front structure under the fenders and the floor, so I have been fixing that for the last eight months. Hoping to paint it again soon.

Omg. That Tesla Cybertruck. I love Elon Musk, but those things are as ugly as they come.

72-73, my Jr & Sr year in high school, my 440 sixpack super bee had 4:10 gears with a 4 speed.. No such thing as 5 speed OD then... It was fun around town but pretty worthless for anything else..... I cringe when I read about somebody putting low rear gears in their cars, but I forget about the 5 & 6 speed OD transmissions available today....
I feel your pain to the OP......

Apparently they are like $100k and apparently a status symbol. I can tell you if I had $100k to put down on a car it sure as hell wouldn't be that POS.

No disrespect to Elon.

Hee in Saraota the Cyber Truck is Everywnere. Yes they can afford @170 Grand to buy it. They f;\ flooded out bad and insurance paid my daughters boyfriend 170G. . How about instant cash for a Masirati another 70K. I met a guy who brings fancy cars to Copher by the ten load in ft myers every day till there done next week. Then the guy goes back to Detroit. Crazy

I have no artistic ability. But they look like cars I drew when I was 5. I don't understand it. And I LOVE cars. I usually can find something I like about just about every car. Well, most cars. Some redeeming quality, from some angle. But that stupid thing, nothing. It's absolutely terrible. Idk who signed off on that design.

But I do love Elon. He's a true patriot.

I see a few that are stainless steel, but I have seen a couple custom colors. Orange and red. Wonder if its a special primer or what. High dollar extra?.. They just built a cool Tesla Dealer near me. Tesla's all around me

I'd guess the special colors are probably wraps. I don't think they are available from Tesla in anything but their SS finish. See them all the time around here... and in different colors also... there's a blue one, and a black one that looks pretty ominous.
