Still have the Focus (my daughter owns it now) and I bought the Escort for my youngest son when he got his drivers license (just totaled it last week, which does not take much)
Looks like you went from a Focus to an older Escort. Was there an issue with the Focus? I'm considering one as my next car when I return to the states.

The Focus has about 150K miles and still runs like a champ. Put in a clutch for the first time 10K miles ago. Have done the water pump/timing belt 2 times along with spark plugs and plug wires once. A couple of brake jobs and 4 sets of tires. Otherwise has been a absolute trouble free car. Nothing else on the inside or outside has given any problems. Typical normal maintenance of course, bulbs, oil changes, battery, that type of stuff that you get on any car.

Some of you have owned a lot...

'91 Camaro v6, swapped in LT1
'99 Chevy S10, stock
'99 Ford Explorer, stock
'06 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V(still have), every bolt on performance part, lowered, great handling little quick car. 14.6 was my best time.

2003 Dakota Quad Cab-still have

I've owned a bunch but the two that were most interesting and worth talking about were a '74 Buick Apollo GSX and an '81 Dodge Challenger.

The Apollo was sold out from under me by my mother, I was under age, and it was a train wreck anyway, rusted out underneath. Looked exactly like this. Turned out to be a really rare car.

images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQMlHk2J_miz_Jc_DNHyIvBJa-s7UPjMtPbzqrUx3p1IgUEf0fB.webp

Then the Challenger. Most guys were quick to tell me "oh you mean Charger, they didn't make a Challenger in '81". Well, they did and I had one. They were a rebadged Mitsubishi Galant, 4 banger/5 speed/RWD. Pretty cool little car for what it was, fun to drive and got thumbs ups and questions everywhere I took it. I owned it for about a year and sold it to a buddy, never once took a pic of it but it looked just like this.

1980_dodge_challenger-pic-7249740627324301429.webp

Oh, I did own a XR4Ti, I guess that's pretty interesting. Really awesome car, really wish I had kept it. I traded it for the paint job on my coupe.

Buddy of mine had an xr4ti, looked like this one

uploadfromtaptalk1390153961100.webp

Kinda make me think of an sti for some reason

Yeah the STi wagon does resemble the basic shape. I really want to own another one someday. I had a straight pipe from the turbo back on mine, no muffler or anything. It wasn't very loud, but you could hear everything the turbo was doing, and it just sounded soooo good.
