I wouldn't put it on the 347 either way.

Not as the final piece - but using for initial fire up.

That was a cool find. Only made that pump one year as the prior hipo pumps were the bolt together Carter x pumps and all the hipo pumps after don’t have the integrated filter. It’s actually the same pump as the regular 289 they just changed the part number and added a second spring to the Actuator arm for the higher RPM. I can tell this one is authentic without even seeing the part number due to the date code 11C5A March 11, 1965. Ford made these pumps in batches and most of them found have that date.. that will be an awesome addition to a numbers matching car .. they are hard to find and it’s really cool you took the time to research it before throwing it in the circle file. Thanks

Ashep - I am very glad I did the internet search and saw a blurb somewhere that it could be a find..... Thanks to you - that little fuel pump transaction financed my entire modern fuel system - Holley Sniper EFI with EFI gas tank and -6AN fuel lines fittings and hose ends for the 347 I built. I can't wait to get down to Fla and visit that Numbers Matching car!!! (2k for a very rare #'d part) As my dad used to say about his 47 Chevy Woody - they just don't make the parts anymore son...

I didn't put it on the 347 - I got a replacement mechanical and fired the engine - will be posting those videos in a few minutes.
