buy a set of 40 series flows and get a muffler shop to make your 2 1/2 pipe and hang them. Cost me $190. $100 for mufflers, $90 for pipe and for them to hang them.

You got a good deal... Can I ask where you purchased the mufflers from? Also, are the tailpipes chrome and mandrel bent?

Also, MAC, Flowmaster, Bassani, they all sound good if you ask me. It's all a matter of what you like the sound of. You will get 50 different opinions on this from 50 different people.

EDIT: Visit Mustang Exhaust to hear quite a few soundclips, and decide which combo you would like on your car.

I've got mac and I love it. Sounds great. Great price and easy to install in your garage. Just cut your old pipe out and bolt the new ones in.

I just installed my Flowmaster Catback tonight and to be honest with you Im kinda dissapointed in the sound, its just like the stock mufflers only a slight bit louder. I hope it gets a lot louder when I install the longtubes and off road H this weekend. I fired it up without a catback on at all, that sounded pretty darn good if you ask me.

It will get alot louder, any exhaust system sounds like crap w/ the stock H pipe on.

I really like the sound of Magnaflow. MAC and Flows are loud but Mags have the deep tone to them. Im switching from Flowmaster to magnaflow b/c the chamberd mufflers on my flows rob to much power from my Superchager.
