If your plans were for the Dr. Gas X pipe, GET IT! It is the best sounding midpipe/Flowmaster combo I have ever heard on a GT. And the rasp you are hearing about is mostly due to the mufflers. Chambered mufflers like Flowmaster tend to have a metallic raspy tone to them since there is no packing - especially when paired with an O/R pipe. You will have to weld the Dr. Gas though. All in all, Dr. Gas :owned: other midpipes

I partially agree and partially disagree. Flowmasters do not cause any rasp if you would like there is the video in my signature of my car. The first part of it is with just the flowmasters and you can see they do not cause any raspiness. They might cause a bit of metallic sounding but no raspiness. I agree with you on if you want an X-pipe with a chambered muffler go with Dr. Gas. Still personally I would go with an O/R H-pipe no X-pipe will ever give you the deep rumbly sound an O/R H-pipe can. Second part of the video in my sig is with the addition of the MAC O/R H-pipe. Its gotten ever deeper now I took that video when I had just first put on the O/R H-pipe.
