Catted X-pipe & MILs!?

Do I still need to run MIL Eliminators if I'm running a Catted X-pipe? Will my check engine light every turn on?

I don't believe so. No MIL's or lights on mine yet. Had the Catted X for about two months now.

I had a Bassani Catted X-pipe for a few weeks before the MIL turned on. I said screw it and just got offroad pipes. But even those high-flow catted X-pipes will trigger the MIL.

I guess I'll find out what happens since I'll be having them installed Saturday. BBK Long Tube Headers w/ a BBK catted X-pipe run into my stock catback w/ weld-in Flowmaster 40-Series Mufflers. I think the sound will kill.

Good. I like to hear stories of everything working well w/ the Catted Xs cuz over on Mach1registry there are some people saying either their cars or people they know's cars eventually needed MILs after some 2 or 3 months after installing a Catted X or H-pipe. I think a lot of it depends on brand & I hope BBK's up to snuff.

It wouldn't be a big deal anyway if they went off. Just would probably want to get some MIL elims, but good luck.
