Greetings from the U.K.,
Just a short and to the point question regarding the relays in the ccrm, are the relays just the run of the mill standard relay or are they fitted with resistors or any other such things, my main concern is over the pcm power relay. Thanks.
Bill

Suggestion. Open the CCRM and look at the part numbers on the relay itself. But you are aware the relays are soldered to a printed circuit board right?

I’ve looked at the number on the relay and tried to get information on it but it I haven’t been able to uncover any details as yet

I replaced the relay for a plain direct switching one it was only much later that I began to wonder if it had any special extras.
The car it’s from, with “the stig” posing beside it

I'm sure there are others out there that would love to hear more about your experience making a board level CCRM repair.

Great pic!

I’ll write up what I did to repair the ccrm, don’t know why I didn’t do it before, and hopefully it may help someone with similar issues, just wish now that I had took photos of the steps taken.
