Does anyone know where I can find a ccrm for not a high price? i believe the high speed fan relay in mine is toast

i looked into that a while back when my fan wasn't working and they are pretty spendy if you go through ford. I was actually considering pulling one from a junk yard. they only wanted $5 for it so if it didn't work i wouldn't be out any money. just a thought.

You sure it's not the cooling fan motor? It's kinda hard just to have the one side no working in the ccrm. If it's toast I doubt anything at all would work. It is possible to burn the high or low side out of the fan motor because I've done it.

both the high and low speed fans work. the coil in the high speed fan relay will energize, but the arm is stuck so it wont turn the fan on. there are 5 relays inside the ccrm, whats so hard to believe about just one failing?

mine has done the same thing..... I think i am going to hard wire the fan

For now just hard wire it to come on high when the key is on. Make sure you use a relay so you don't blow the thing up.

hey I sent you a pm but a guy that is local to me offered me one off of a wrecked car that he is parting, so im gonna try it and if it doesnt work i will let you know
