cooling fan not turning on, but does when ac is on or when coolant temp is jumped or unplugged.

Hello, I have been having an issue with my cooling fan not comming on, I have checked all the fuses, changed the CCRM, and changed both temperature sensors. Like i mentioned in the title the fan does come on when the ac is on, and when the coolant temperature sensor was unplugged and when we briged the connector. I dont know what else to check, mabey the CCRM is still the issue. Any ideas would be appreciated. I think this issue killed the last motor I had in it.

I am having the same issue. I did stumble across a cooling fan resistor "in the mix". I have not changed mine, I have been dealing with a leak first. I have also changed the ECT only. I had this same issue on the same car in 2019 and I wish I could remember what I did. LOL. Good luck!

You should both, check the power wire coming off of the CCRM to the fan with the fan connected and disconnected.

If you get full battery voltage from the CCRM fan wire with the fan disconnected but reduced voltage with the fan connected and [ON] (load) then the relays are worn. They're not carrying the current that they used to.

In that case, I would use the CCRM to trigger another relay with it's own path to power.
