A CD is stuck in my AIWA CDX-517 CD player...I have a warrenty still on it at best buy and I would take it there, but the CD is a burnt CD, so I don't wanna get prosecuted or something...any idea why this happens and/or how I can fix it? Any info would be nice. This sucks...it doesn't play either and it doesn't even acknowledge having it in there how it usually does by saying "CD" on the display even if it's not playing...you know.

Is it a pull out type? Most cd/dvd players, home or auto have a little hole where you can use a paperclip to push out the cd. Yours might be on the side or top.

Just take it to Best Buy if you have a warranty there (although they might not cover it), but i'm pretty sure they are not going to prosecute you for a burned cd.

Take it to BB...you won't get in any trouble for a burned CD there.

try disconnecting the power to the stereo then hook it back up if you cannot get to the wire try battery cable. I would say unhook a fuse but battery you know it cut the power. Sometimes it will eject it when it repowers. If not I do not think you will get in any trouble they sell the cdr's right?? Just an idea.

Just hit eject and jam another cd in the slot and wiggle it...that's how I get my stuck ones out of my mach 460 changer!

Patience

I know the feeling. It happens to me all the time (for some reason, dont know why) but all i do is wait it out. Every time it happens i just end up startin the car and i hear the cd playin, then i eject it like there was no problem. I dont know what the deal is but it works every time.
