Last Ford Bash of the season!

The last Midwest OpenComp Series race is the top billing along with Test & Tune.

Sounds like there'll be alot of Stangs/Fords out for this one...hope a few of you that post here can make it out!!

Bring your camera and bring your car...we could use someone from Stangnet with a camera for sure and a few of the SN members would be welcome additions to the rank and file in the staging lanes too!!

if i end up goin ive got a digital camera that will also shoot videos too, is cfr hard to find, the only place ive gone to was tristate but it got rained out...

Pretty easy to find

There's a map on the www.cedarfallsraceway.com website.
From Hwy 20 take 58/27 North out of Cedar Falls and then take the Big Woods Road (or is it Lone Tree Road?) either way it's just North of the Hwy 20 / 58-27 interchange...take that to the stop sign by the Fire Dept and turn right there....head North and the track will be on your left.
Check out the CFR site for the map to clarify my muddled directions

nice meetin ya, there were alot of fast fords there, i think i had the slowest mustang though but it was a good time, i was having troubles with the svo and only made 2 passes after i got them fixed(my knock sensor was messing up when i uncapped my exhaust apparently since i was holding full boost with exhaust capped and boost was dropping off big time when i uncapped it and i as running 93 octane so i knew that wasnt the problem so i unhooked it and problem fixed) i went form 16.7 to 15.9 then 15.6 and decided to call it quits, i think i coulda got down to low 15s high 14s if i woulda stayed and made some more passes to improve my launch because i was killing it on the line big time even on my 15.6 pass...

Not too bad of times there with the SVO...I'm sure you'll tune it to better ones yet!
Got a little busy there myself trying to run and race in the OpenComp deal...so I didn't get a chance to see you make a pass. I'll post when the big Ford meets are scheduled for next season and we'll hope you can make a few more!
