Celtics vs. Lakers...Best NBA Finals in years?

Thank God, I don't have to listen to more mumbo jumbo hoopla about the San Antonio Spurs this year.

I think this could be the best NBA Finals in years...since the Pistons knocked off the Lakers in 2004.

Celtics vs Lakers.

With Boston's inability to win consistently on the road, I think the Lakers close the deal on another Championship. Phil Jackson has what? 9 Rings in 10 tries? 6 with Chicago, and 3 with L.A?

As a long time Lakers and Nuggets fan (i hate when my two teams play each other...tears me up), I have to root for L.A. in this one.

The sports gods have smiled way too much on Boston recently. The Red Sox won the World Series last year, then the Patriots went 18-0, and lost in the Super Bowl. Now the freaking Celtics are in the NBA Championship Series? WTF?

Go Lakers!!! Go Kobe Bryant!

Lakers in 6 games, will win series 4-2.

As much as I like Boston sports teams, i'm for the Lakers in this one.

I'm just glad the Spurs and Pistons aren't in it, that would be the most boring crap ever. I'm so tired of seeing the Spurs and hearing the media make excuses for them when they lose.

I dont think he's a Michael Jordan, but he's the next best player, that's for sure.

+1... Followed closely by LeBron James, who will be as good as Kobe in a few years (in my opinion). After all, he did take a sub-par team to the NBA Finals last year, even though they got swept it was still a great feat to accomplish given the terrible supporting cast around him (minus a couple players). But then again, i'm a Cavs fan so i'm a bit biased. :D

and I can't stand people who publicly display they didn't graduate grammar school...cause it's spelled Bryant...not braynt. :rlaugh:

Go Lakers!!!

I don't watch basket ball, just b/c I spelled his last name wrong does not mean I'm grammar impaired  I only posted in here b/c its the local team in the finals. I could care less who really wins or who is in it. I have watched 0 mins of basket ball this year.

Don't you have a stimulus check to go and piss and whine about?

Great game, but I was getting a little pissed off with the officiating on the Lakers side of the court. They weren't calling **** on the Celtics in the 4th quarter when Gasol or Bryant would go to the rim with Celtics draped all over them, but when they touched a Celtics player they called the foul asap. I hope the Lakers blow them out in Game 2.

I'm saying Lakers in 6.. if I haven't already said that.
