center caps

I have the rims, and tires are on their way but i want to put them on before i get the center caps is it ok just to pop the caps in or is the circle wire in the center caps nessecary to put in?

The center caps have to be off when the wheels get balanced so I would say wait till the tires have been mounted and balanced then put the caps on.

You are misunderstanduing me, The tires will be balanced and mounted on the rim and car what I am wondering is if I can put the center cap in once the wheel is already mounted on the car? or do is it crucial too put the metal ring on the inside of the cap? comments appreciated.

They pop right in from the front dude. Nothing to worry about

If you're talking about the brass wire that actually goes into the centercap itself, to help hold it in place, that needs to be snapped or threaded into the rear of the center cap before you try to put them on; it applies friction to the cap. And yes, they do just pop in from the outside, on the car or off. You can also easily remove them from the wheel while they're on the car too - it just takes a pair of very small flat blade screwdrivers and a soft touch.
