can someone please post a picture of the underside of this hood?

I don't know what, exactly, you're wanting to see on the underside but maybe this will be of some use to you.

I wanted to see if there was an air ducting to spit the air out over the intake...I see there isnt. I don't think ill buy this hood now unless I get a wild hair in me and decide to glass my own duct.

How can this hood be functional? It seems as if the air would just get under the hood, but without proper duct work, it wouldn't truely be "Ram-Air."

I've seen some CAIs with the filter right in the middle in front of the engine (there is not bent tube). Maybe something like that would work?

Can someone please explain.

I'm a newbie when it comes to moding, but seems to me this hood would suffer very badly from water ingestion. Not to mention everything else on the road smaller than the vent holes being sucked into the engine compartment. I would hate to think what this would do to someone who had a ram air style CAI installed. Good Luck anyway let us know how it works out for you.

This hood can be had with a cervinis ram air kit that routes the air directly onto the intake filter location.

I have a procharger so I don't have that ability, however, water enters the engine bay no matter what you do, it's minimal through the vents and not even worth worrying about..

Those were shot with my walk around Canon Rebel XTI..

Kooldawg recently purchased the same camera and he has some photo's up in the talk forum that you can see as examples too.

The close ups of the hood pins above were done with a macro lens, Kools post shows what can be done with the standard kit lens. Superb pictures without having too large of a investment in accessories.

I have a few macro shots with the Rebel XTi using the standard included lens with macro capabilities.
