I did some research, and everywhere i look i read that I should change the spark plugs after I run seafoam through the intake.
Is there truth to this? If there is then F it. I'm not risking a blow out, I hate doing plugs on the 4.6 because it always makes me paranoid
They most likely recommend this because there is a possibility of fowling a plug. If it still has spark on all cylinders after doing the sea foam, then don't worry about it.

I hate changing the plugs especially since I am a victim of shoting a spark plug out of the head. I wouldn't use that stuff if you need to change the plugs. Leave it alone.

because it is a complete waste of time and money... Probably won't hurt so long as you keep it off the mass air sensor, etc. But it won't help a thing. Find a 4-cycle lawn mower, pull the head and look at top of piston, valves, head, combustion chamber, etc. Run sea-foam through it. Pull the head again. Looks the same or worse, eh?
On a rebuild, take a badly carbonized piston and try to clean it. It is a royal pain, and there is literally nothing you can just "soak" the thing in (that is legal to buy / use) that will dissolve that carbon mess. Including seafoam. It has its uses to be sure. But this just isn't one of them that is any good.
