I know I crossed some wire. But which ones? There are only two.

And I ruined a set of jack stands.

I think its a bad starter. The solenoid has three connections.

A blade for a small black wire, and two studs, one has a wire going from the solenoid to the starter, and the other has nothing. I put the pig power wire on the open stud, and the blad connector on the blade, and when I hook the battery up, it starts.

I think iam going to need pics of the jack stands!

And that is why you always need to put a block infront of rear wheels!

At least you and the car weren't hurt.

Ill take some pics of them tomorrow. Im pretty sure I can fix them with a hammer, but I would probably feel a little uncomfortable under the car with them after that.

No, there were some little puddles under it that had me worried, but once I got it back up and got under it, it was just some of my sweat.

if the little blade connection gets power, it'll turn the starter over.. So it sounds like your starter was bad internally, and allowed the wires to touch.
