I am changing my shocks as they are pretty much wasted and it seems like i'm ridin a solid piece of metal with no shocks at all. So I would like to know what's involved. Is this something a person that is mechanically inclined but his first time attempting this?

just a matter of undoing a couple of bolts. use plenty of WD40 ahead of time to make it easier. As usual air tools would be awesome to have but muscle power will do it to. Just unbolt where they attach to the axel. Then they bolt through the floor in the wheel wells. There are two plastic caps inside the car that cover those two nuts.

exactly what gaslight said. the only part that is a b:tch is getting a set of visegrips on the top of the shock snug enough so that it doesnt round off and keep spinning when you try and take the top nuts off.

they make a wrench for that. vice grips, open end wrench, cresent wrench, etc all work too.
