I've been told I'm probably burning oil from leaky valve seals... are these easily fixed besides taking apart tha upper intake, valve covers and tha other accessories? If it's possible to do myself, I'd like to try before taking it somewhere... just want to stop it from burning if I can.

Its not that bad if you have some time set aside to do it and the right tools. Knowing what youre doing is very important. Its possible to do it with the heads in the car still but when I did mine I went the extra steps and just took the heads off. If you do it with the heads in the car you have to use regulated shop air into the spark plug hole to keep the valves from falling into the cylinder. The actual process of changing them is relatively easy. Just take the old umbrella style off (mine were in pieces I might add) and then put some white lith on the inside diameter of the new seal, where the valves stem slides. I recommend the Fel Pro blue intake seals and the Fel Pro black exhaust seals. Theyre made of I think its called Viton. The good thing about taking the heads off is you can then clean some of the carbon build up and junk off the valves and even the pistons.
BTW, I like your quote so much I told it to a bunch of my friends. I even told it to my ex but she wasnt as amused as everyone else...
