I think it was a 1967 or 1968 Fastback or Shelby with a 428 that was being sold for something aroung $5k. I saw it on ebay too, what a crock!

I EMAILED THIS JERK and here is what he sent me.

I am glad about your interest in hearing details about my car.
First of all i want to tell you some details regarding to the car and the way we can complete a transaction.
Since november 2005 i tried to develop a business down here in Belfast/Ireland but unfortunately the things didn't work the way i expected and now i really need cash because i am at one step to lose my little business from here, so i decided to sell the car.Because i want to deal as soon as possible i am ready to cover the shipping costs and insurance. You will not have to pay additional taxes, just only the price for it. The shipping will be made using Lufthansa Cargo insured by me from Belfast .
The car is presenting in a very good condition, no damage or defects, it looks just the way showed by my presentation.
The car was bought it from a dealer, it will come with all the documentations required for registration, you will have no problem with that at your place. You will not have to pay additional taxes cause the car is already registered in USA , just the price for it.
I realise that is a cheap price for such a product but my special situation makes me do things that i would't do in normal circumstances and belive me it is not easy at all for me to sell a thing which was one of my dreams during last years. So if you are ready to pay the buy it now price wich is 4900.00 US Dollars, shipping and insurance included we will deal right now.
In normal circumstances Paypal is my favorite way of receiving the payment but unfortunately for the moment i have some troubles with my paypal account and i am forced not to accept this method at this time. Anyway i hope this is not a problem because i am a eBay Protection Plan member and all the payment process will be done through them. If you agree with moving forward with the deal through ebay please email me as soon as possible with your complete name and address where the car will be shipped. As soon as i receive this informations from you i will forward it to eBay in order for them to open a case regarding our deal. After you receive the notification from eBay please give me an email and confirm me if we have a deal in order for me to make the arragements for the shipping process.

Thank you in advance,
Philip Sturdman

WOW I never heard that line before

I didn't know Belfast Ireland was "down there"???? If this guy can afford shipping/handling and insurance. Why doesn't he just use that money to get out of the situation that he is in. Come on... shipping from "down there" and insurance must be a heck of alot more than what he is selling it for.

It is definitely a scam! I had one of these guys thinking I was going to send them money for over two weeks. I would tell them that I sent the money via moneygram and they would get back with me saying that they couldn't find the payment. Then I would tell them that moneygram was unable to do it so I told them I would send it Western Union. I kept playing with them until they basically gave up trying.
