Do your self a favor and drop a couple hundred more bucks and get you a Tremec, T-5's are junk if you want to build some decent hp and not worry about breaking it.
Got my t-5 completely rebuilt for just $225.... of course, it doesnt hurt when ur father is a tranny tech Only had to pay for the cost of parts.
Anyways, I wouldnt put my money towards a BRAND NEW t-5... its simply not worth it, spare the extra couple hundred and move up to a TKO or something. If your running a stock 5.0 find a buddy who knows what there doing and just rebuild the sucker.
fella's, fella's listen. I already have a Tremec in my high HP car. I simply need a t-5 for my daily driver stocker. It's just a car that gets me back and forth to work and such. No smokey burnouts and no power shifting will be going on here.
Just to toss this in...the T5 can handle a good bit of power if you treat it right. Also, stepping up to a G-Force T5 will keep you happy with over 400 RWHP.
