Cheapest place to get a short block

Summits and 5.0 Restro have the 302 production block for $1200

Does anyone have it cheaper? im looking to stay under 900

Well im assuming you just want a stock reman unit. I think having your existing short block rebuilt would be even cheaper look at the prices for a rebuild kit and find out how much local shops will charge to install the parts if u dont feel comfortable doing so. just an option, sorry i couldnt be of more help on a better budget priced rebuild short block though.. good luck Brian

are you seriously thinking of buying a shortblock off ebay? thats way to risky for me. You can get an overhaul kit and do it yourself.

If your short on cash I would opt for this

hyper pistons with all the nessecary gaskets to overhaul your engine for 279.

DSS racing little bit more but well worth it!
