Hey guys,

Im looking to replace the Head bolts in my stang when I get my new heads

Ive got a set of AFR 165's on the way with Crane Gold Roller rockers
Cant wait to install them

But would replacement head bolts from a parts store be ok Or should I go down the ARP head stud route?

Also what kind of power would the AFR heads give me?
Would I hit my goal of 300 BHP?
Obviously with all my mods below,
Im hoping for 13 sec Qtr miles and around 300 BHP, Sound realistic?

The regular ARP head bolts would work just fine for your combo.... Summit Racing has the best prices I can find on ARP stuff.

Very Cheap

$80 for a set of bolts??? Come on, I mean seriously, there BOLTS!
You can buy bigger bolts with obviously more material to make them for pennies at a hardware store,

I know these are strong blah blah, but come on, $80 for BOLTS

Stock replacements are only able to be used once, ARPs can be re-torqued many, many times before they stretch to far. They are far superior to the parts store bolts....

You don't need studs for your set-up, buy the ARP bolts $37.88 PT#154-3601

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
