Check Engine Code, what does it mean?

OK, I got the code now for my check engine light. The code was:
P1131
P1130
Both saying "Manufacturer Control Fuel Air Metering".
Does anyone know what this means? Thanks!!

P1130 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Adaptive Fuel Limit - Bank No. 1.
P1131 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 1.

do both those codes mean its running rich and lean? maybe an unburnt mixture? are u having a misfire in bank 1?

It probably means that if you have MIL eliminators, than one has gone bad or if you don't then it's just telling you that you have no cats. If your h-pipe has high flow cats it can still sometimes set off those codes.

The problem is that my car is running bad, it originally didnt throw any Check Engine Codes, and then a day after it running bad it popped the check engine light on. That is the code that came up. Would an o2 sensor cause my car to run bad?
