check engine light turned off...??

my check engine light was on bc of a MAC prochamber, and i was about to buy some MIL elimnators, but recently the light turned off...? why would this happen, its been on about a month, and i havent done anything that would cause it to turn off. any explanations for why this occured???

how many miles have you driven the car after it turned off? I'm saying it will come back on sooner or later. it's funny how these damn check engine lights come on for the stupidest crap, but when you throw 3 rods, the light decides to sleep on you.

Probably turned off due to a change in temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.

Where any of the factors different from the day that it was on?

not really...i live in miami so the temp here is always about 80. i think im begining to hear a leak though, and its seems to be coming from the driver's side header...

The CE light comes on when you have a fault. If the fault goes away, so does the light.

Does it come on when you turn the car on, but not start it? THat way you can tell if it is just a burnt bulb.
