Does installing the Bassani off road X-pipe give you a check engine light?

Unless you tune it and have the rear O2 sensors turned off, yes.

You do not need a tune with an X pipe...However when it was installed the battery should have been disconnected to allow the computer to reset to the new pipes. A dealer would need to reset it now.. if the light is on.

I guess I should of explained further. I'm going to ge the off-road. So just disconnect the battery. Thanks. Can someone explain this "tune" thing to me. I feel stupid being on this post for a while and not knowing but I must have missed something.
