While getting ready to clean the playdoh out of my valves (PV clearance check mistake), I noticed this spring problem on my AFR165's with the 8032 spring upgrade. Check out the pics.

This is the way that they were sent to me from them. Good thing I noticed before running these! AFR was really cool about it, they are sending me new springs for that valve. They also offered to fix it up themselves, but sending the head to them and back doesn't seem to be very cost or time effective.

Even if AFR had the worst QC on the market, how in the hell would they miss that?!? Even a minimum wage dope should have caught that as it was assembled.

At least they're making it right by you.

Man, AFR's really suck, shouldn't have gone with those. Crappy heads, anyway, this just proves it.

Should have gone with TFS....

Seriously though, mistakes do happen - unfortunately it happened to you. I guess it can go to show that AFR has good customer service.

I'm glad you caught that before you ran them. I have heard too that AFR has iffy QC but atleast their customer service is good.
