Check out my future paint job....

Wow, I wasn't digging his concept necessarily, although I knew something about it had potential. You hit the friggin nail on the head! I still wonder, however, simply form a curiosity standpoint, how your rendering would look with the following deviations:

1. With the silver stripe wider and following the upper fender bodyline. The bottm line on the silver is perfect without a doubt.
2. If the silver stripe does not go all the way up to the upper bodyline, how about having it match the upper bodyline perfectly but only a few inches lower in all areas? Does that make sense? Let me say it another way. Your bottom body line is perfect as I have stated. What would it look like if you absolutely mimiced the angles of the upper body lines but dropped them down between 1" and 4" (guesstimate)?

Oh, one other thing. I'd drive the hell out of the car you rendered. Foose, are you monitoring?
I did actually try both of the ideas you mentioned, but both seemed excessive and really didn't do much to accentuate the car. It looked a bit Yenko Camaro like...

Anyway, I'll post a couple versions tonight.

Hey darkbuddha could you send me a pic of that car un modified....
It's actually not a great image to start with because it's got a vinyl top, which I pseudo-painted for this rendering. I think the image you were working with would be better actually. Besides, I feel kinda guilty using it at all since it's a member's car that I was doing other photochops on over at www.69stang.com. You can see some of more of my photochops over there in the photochop forum.

Did someone say Foosified??? ;)[/QUOTE]

I think it's been Buddhafied!!! :SNSign: :nice: :hail2:

That's pretty much what I was thinking, I'd still like to see it without the scoop though, see what it looks like.

Yeah, I thought it looked a little like you were going with the Mercedes black cloth top there, doesn't look bad though.

Congratulations, its great to see some new concepts being developed that 'spice up' the lovely lines........bit like a georgeous body in a new dress.

How about treating us to a series of 'new dresses' for our love affairs.

can you do a photo chop of my stang...i want to see what it would look oike with different rims and a two tone paint scheme...
If you're talking to me, I'm not really doing requests much anymore. I was/am doing a limited number of requests, but at one point I had 8 or 10 people in line so I finally had to stop. It was like being a pro and not getting paid... I'm not a pro by any means... just a poor doctoral student in music and a father to a 1 year old and I work 2 jobs. I only really do these for "fun" and when it's convenient. Plus, I like having the freedom to do something or not or to try something and not be overly concerned if the person likes it or not.

But heck, if you're interested in this kinda thing, there are folks all over the internet doing it and there are tons of websites to help learn. It really doesn't take much real "talent" to get started trying stuff... the talent comes in when figuring out the "right" look. Anyway, any simple photo editing program has most of the tools necessary to do wheel 'chops or color changes, or even two-tones. It just takes a bit of time to figure it out, and once you do you'll probably end up addicted like the rest of us.

You're right; the first one you posted looked much better than these versions, although these aren't bad either. Awesome job. :nice:

les schwab have that funny little computer deal, that you can change the wheels in stuff with, they didnt have any classic stangs on there though. :nono:
American Racing Equipment (the folks that make the oh-so-popular Torque Thrust II) have a similar deal and they do have a couple classics. It lets you change paint color and put ARE wheels on it.

hey buddha,
i was asking you to do a phot chop of my car in the previous post but i understand that you probably get lots of requests for this. i have adobe photo shop 7.0 but i cant figure anything out on it...any tips...
