My 05 GT Vert appears in this months (Feb 2007) edition of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine.

Mike Dez Racing of Seekonk, MA used my stang for a job. They installed CNC Ported Ford Racing Heads

in my car. Interesting article. Page 170 of this months MM&FF Magazine. Article called Tri Power.

Front of the magazine says "40 Power Packages" and has a Orange Cobra on the front!

congrats!

Thanks for the props!

Should have mentioned the whole deal.... sorry.

I've known Mike Dez from when he installed my Procharger last March. He's a serious racer in the Mustang circuit and also a hell of a mechanic!

He told me about the possibility of being a part of this job back over the Summer. He made a deal with me that i'd get the CNC ported Ford Racing Heads

for FREE, if I donated my car for the job and shoot. I would have to pay him his cost for his shop's labor and the other materials for the install. My total bill was around

$1500. He told me that normally the heads alone would cost more than that, so realistically, I suppose I got a job done for less than half the price and my car in an awesome

magazine to boot! So, in my eyes it was a win win both for me and Mike Dez's shop. By the way, if you guys are looking for a great place to have mods done to your stangs

in Eastern, MA, MIke Dez is based in Seekonk, MA and he has a dyno. Here's his website for reference: DezRacing.com - the team and the store...
1761 Fall River Ave. Seekonk, MA USA 02771 (508) 336-6588

I don't work for Mike I just know how hard it was to find a shop that does great work in the area!

Cool. Not a bad deal at all. Can you tell much of a difference from the seat of the pants? Have you done some additional tuning to find even more HP like MM&FF thinks you can?

Did small stuff like the 4.10 gears, underdrive pulleys that had to be taken out for the supercharger, had an sct tuner that i had to sell cause the procharger came with the diablo predator, did the lowering springs from steeda. I'm sure i'll be doin something else to her this Summer. For now, i'm happy with the car. As far as the hp gain, i'm not sure if i'd spend all that money just for 40hp, the magazine appearance swayed me the most.:flag:
I would say the biggest seat of the pants noticable difference was changing from the 3.73 to 4.10 gears and of course the procharger. I'd imagine that having the new ported heads will make the whole car more efficient now.
