He thinks that because he spent $20,500 to get it in that condition that he should be able to get $18,000 for it? That guy needs to put down the pipe. I think he'd be lucky to get $10K for it.

Wow! Just crazy. Never seen anyone ask for the price of tuning from a car sale.
Did you see his cost for cap, rotor, plugs at Blood? $324!!!! SUCKER!
He also admits to only spending $1,800 on paint materials but isn't willing to pass on the savings to you so he's expecting $9,000 for paint work!

Asking and getting are two very different issues.

He needs to do his own work or he's better off buying new car.

What he basically has is a lightly modded 5.0 with a nice point job. He's running stock heads!

The correct formula is to add up the cost of all the parts (excluding installation) divide in half = the price you start with. That's just the reality of selling a modded car.

Who knows, he could find a millionaire six-year-old with a devil-may-care attitude!

A decent looking 4-cylinder conversion car that the guy had "over-seen every modification made" on. It had a GT body kit and a bunch of bolt-ons. He listed the parts and labor price of everything he'd ever done to it and was asking $18,000 for it.

Don't forget the $9,000 paintjob that he did himself for $1,800!
