What's the big deal? A complete ground up conversion to Cobra spec ... it's not as if he slapped Cobra badges on the side of a 4-banger. I've seen much, much worse...

What I don't get is why people are slamming him, then give people a thumbs up for putting Saleen body kit parts on a non-Saleen?

Not directing it directly at anyone, just making an observation.

Why do you want to bag on a guy that did a kick ass job of building a great car? Are you one of those guys that goes and buys his ride already done up? Can you work on a car? Can you even come close to the aparent quality of work that that car has? Why dont you build something so we can bag on you? For some people the process of getting the parts, figuring out what to do to build a car, to show off the results is more important than having daddy buy us a loaded GT. Punk!

Was there question?

He isnt doing himself any favors listing it as a 2.3L and then saying it has a new Crate motor...but I suspect it will still bring in some good dough.

And if it's stock it means they didn't beat the hell out of it?

It is a very little known fact. That Cobra's have their own specific nuts and bolts.

i disagree with that.

i strictly do all my own work, and dont go around with my car because of that. my car is heavily modified and driven very very easy. i dont like people touching it, and nobody else has driven it but me since the day i got it.

i see posts on here everyday where someone had a honda look at them so they redlined first gear and smoked it through an intersection at them to show them a v8 or whatever. has nothing to do with the amount of mods, just the drivers.
