Don't get upset. I like the Mustang GT a lot. I will likely get one when the GT's are more readily available, or I will order one. However, IF all cars were priced the same though, a Mustang would NOT be most people's first choice.
I had a chance to get any car I want, (just came off a large court settlement) Out of any car I chose the GT Vert, I just really like how Ford went back in time and recreated history bringing back a true muscle car.
i won't pic a Corvette or and SSR id go with a FORD GT or the 07 Shelby or something else like a Ferrari or Porsche, if all cars cost the same i wouldn't even consider a corvette or an SSR now if it was a stingray thats a diffrent story, I love mustang it has always been my dream car a 64-68 mustangs are my favorite now that the 05 mustang came out with the retro styling i loving the mustang all over again, i did like the 69-70, 89-93 and the 99-04 mustang too by th way but not at the same level.

...have you driven an SSR yet? I had the opportunity to drive one on the track. It feels powerful, but it feels REALLY heavy. (Doesn't it weigh like 5000 pounds?) Not to mention it feels really small inside. I tried to adjust the drivers seat and I couldn't reach the controls without opening the door! I won't even talk about the useless bed space...
The SSR looks cool, but it's a few years old now and has lost a lot of it's initial retro appeal. It comes off as more of a novelty.

yeah from what i've heard they're dogs in the speed department, more of a cruiser i guess. i for one don't even like the looks. they should stick to vettes and trucks and suv's.
I think you should buy the truck, but me, if all cars are priced the same, I'm getting the new Aston Martin DB 9 or the new Porsche Carrera something that is only $450 k.
If we have to price them differently I guess I'll stick w/ my GT Vert.
