Woah cant remember the last time i even posted on here, ive been real busy with work. But now that I got some extra money, im back into the modding frenzy haha. Since my car is in the process of getting a new paint job and a new bumper put on, i was thinking about getting a chin spoiler for my sn95. Its a 96 GT and was wondering your guy's opinion on chin spoilers on the Sn95 and if i should go do it .. Paint it to match my car or just leave it black. And do any of u guys have any pix with sn95 with the chin spoiler on and where the hell can I even get it for my car. I remember seeing it a while ago but i cant remember the site. Thanks Guys

They have chin spoilers for 94-98 cars? Like Mach 1 style, Cobra R style, or ricer style?

..Mach 1 Style

I've seen it before and it looks pretty bad ass IMO. Kind of adds something to the car. Im also looking into some deep dish bullits and meatier tires in the back around 275's. My front wheels are 17" and Im looking into getting the back 18" deep dish bullets which would give my stang a nice lookin stance.

But yeah back to the subject, Anyone know where i can get the chin spoiler for my car and do you think i should just leave it black or paint it white? POST PICS ! =D

they are 100 here. I've heard of people painting them and then the paint chips badly though.

I left mine black as our stangs have quite a bit of black trim i.e. mirrors, window surround etc... If you do paint it, I think it would blend even better, but they you have to worry about rock chips, scrapings and it could get to look pretty crappy pretty fast. Note that the spoiler kit doesn't come with nearly enough pins to keep it flush to the bumper, so a trip to your local autoparts store is in order for another half dozen or so.

You guys are probably sick of my whoring pics, but what the hay, hopefully it won't kill ya, but help out xlilzeex with making up his mind....

LI98GTSTANG that chin spoiler looks pretty sick on your 98. Since I got the Mach 1, I couldnt even imagine a 99-04 not having a chin spoiler. I was looking into getting either a 99 or an 03 Cobra front bumper but I couldnt part with my chin spoiler. I dont think they fit those front bumpers? I would go with the spoiler on your 96, but like the others said, I wouldnt paint it to match because it would get messed up fast. Mine scrapes all the time.

Yeah, the kit come with nothing close to enough pins to flush it. I knida had to jerry-rig it w/ hardware from the store and it doesnt come close to fitting like the picture on americanmuscle.com - i left my staggard back like LI98GTStang

and back when my car was a 4X4
