I am running a Holley 750 DP. I am wondering if i can remove the choke plate all together. I am not going to drive it in cold weather at all. Its only a summer weekend cruiser and race car. Any info is appreciated.

sure. If you don't think you'll ever want a choke on it you can even mill off the choke horn with a dremel and smooth it off real well. This will help out with your airflow a bit.

I drive my stang in the winter and I havent run a choke since day 1..well... day 2 =) . You need to pump the gas 2-3 times before starting it and it kill kick right in. Then keep it running for 5-10 seconds then you are ok.

When I got my 4 corner idle double pumper, wow! No hesitation at below freezing temps on an ice cold motor. Good stuff! Starts right up and idles! No choke horn whatsoever.

If you decide to mill the choke horn off, COVER EVERYTHING. Be paranoid. Expend an entire roll of duct tape covering everything up or you will have a permaclogged carb guaranteed!

Have fun!
