My .02 get new rims I just ditched my chrome pealing waffle rims. Didn't feel it was worth having them rechromed.

That's why I didn't get chromed rims. I stuck with the polished ones.

Is it worth rechroming? I don't know . You would have to do some price comparison (i.e. compare price to rechrome to cost of new wheels etc.) and go from there.

New rims are SOOOoooo Cheap now (even chromers) that it's better to just buy new ones... I sold my old tribars for $250 a couple of years ago!

Long live the Opal Frost.....lol
I bought some used replica's that are flaking pretty bad on the insides of the rims....thought about having them sandblasted and powder coated but was told that was more expensive then buying new rims.......
Your car looks sweet though....

one suggestion:
Mustangtuning.com
thats where i am going, its really affordable.
only drawback: everyone else knows about the company so they will also be rocking the same rims

Opal Frost is a really nice color for a mustang.
I wouldn't try rechroming your old tribars.Just get some new
chrome wheels like chrome FR500's or Bullitt's!

I had one of my saleen's flake...
just the back of it, but it didn't matter to me.

cheapest way is to buy a whole new rim
unless the rim costs more than $275 US and you can wait 6-8 weeks for the re-chroming to be done.

I guarantee you will not find a better price than that.

due to the rarity of your wheels. you may have difficulties finding a good set of chrome rims.

i heard these guys do good work, they do complete wheel restoration:
