I agree, I had my 93 cobra wheels chromed and it was about $550, but they were really nice. I would sell the one's you have and buy some chrome ones.

hey i priced out chrome plating for another set of rims i had and they wanted between $150-$200 a piece and thats not including if they have to fix any imperfections before hand. I agree with everyone else it would be much cheaper to sell yours and get chrome ones. I have the chrome ones and they really stand out nicely.

You have to understand that the quality of a rim from the factory that was intended to be chromed is a lot better off than one you hand them that has already been painted and cleared. The preparation of the metal is important, and I have seen to many jobs that start flaking and pitting because they just dont have the faciltys to do rims. Stick with the big boys who do this from the start.

it might be worth it though to take yours and have them stripped and chromed as long as it looks mint. Alot of times with aftermarket chromed rims they start to look like crap after awhile because the chrome plateing was done crappy. just my 02
