Anyone want to buy a shortblock?

http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/pts/4261861927.html

I love all the FM on the crank, block, rods and partucularly like the gouges in the cylinder walls. Only $1500 and this can be yours!

It's an 'aged' shortblock, much like a fine wine.

Are those gouges or grease?

Can't tell if the seller is serious or not...

Nik, I've meant to ask you but always forget. How do you like those 205's on that motor? I'm a firm believe in buy the biggest and best heads you can afford and build the motor around that. What pistons and valvetrain did you go with as that is pretty impressive numbers for a little 302 and a mild cam. FTI or Buddy cam?

It works pretty well. The car is far from optimized- it would probably be a 350+ RWHP car with better exhaust, a different cam and some other small tweaks. Hell just better exhaust would probably get me close to tree-fiddy. The cam is *mostly* of my design. Back then, I thought I knew what I was doing, or at least enough to take a stab at my own cam specs haha. Next time around, I will leave that part to a professional. The short block is stock, down to the original '86 flat top pistons.

If you have not already, you should look through my build thread. Lots more info in there on it.
